Body shop Manager
Reporting to After-sales Manager
Location: – Isleworth
Salary: Basic £55K per annum plus commission (OTE £60K per annum) and Company vehicle.
Working hours: 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday
Duties
- In consultation with the After Sales Manager establish and administer operating standards and policies.
- In discussion with the After Sales manager establish daily, weekly, monthly and yearly labor sales figures.
- Carry out quality control.
- Maintain a satisfactory service to retail customers and internal departments, obtaining an acceptable share of the available market.
- Co-ordinate all activities within the Body Repair area to ensure maximum profits are achieved, objectives are met and CRS targets are achieved.
- Ensure that the work carried out by the Bodyshop achieves the required levels of profitability, work quality and customer satisfaction.
- To arrange the flow of work in the most efficient manner; maximize the sale of labour and materials whilst adhering to agreed completion dates.
- Ensure that Bodyshop staff productivity is maintained at 100% with idle time kept to a minimum.
JOB KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2-5+ years in the Auto body repair industry, with proven supervisory or management experience.
- Proficiency in Body Management Systems (BMS) like Autoflow and estimating systems like Audatex or Mitchell.
- Exceptional negotiation and customer-facing skills to handle disputes and communicate effectively with insurers and clients.
